Moonstone Heart is Here!

I’m so excited for this one, friends.

Here’s how it came about:

I started thinking about love triangles, and how they are usually so frustrating to me. When they are told from one person’s point of view, and it’s just a matter of our heroine getting her man, that’s not so interesting. What is that other woman doing? What the heck was that guy thinking?

So I decided to tell the story of a love triangle from each perspective. I imagined that they were each decent, though flawed, people going after what they wanted in life. I wanted readers to love all three of them but also occasionally hate them just a little bit. And of course, in the end, I wanted to make you cry and laugh and faint with emotion.

It starts off in the ’80s, which is just my excuse to relive my teen years and throw in references to Dynasty and Giorgio perfume and Sony Discmans. (Discmen? Did we have a plural for that gadget?) And the whole thing is set in the gorgeous beach town of Cambria, California, which is my favorite place on earth.

Let me know what you think of the book – I hope you love it! I hope you love pie and beaches and tragic romances!
