A few weeks ago, I took my kids to Disneyland, and we happened to see a certain celebrity. (I’m not even going to mention her name, even though I can hear all my blogger friends going search engine optimization!! But really, I don’t want to give her any more ink.) Suffice to say, watching how people act around this celebrity was a bizarre experience. The crowd, in fact, was the most interesting part. The celebrity in question mostly just gazed at her phone and looked annoyed. We live in a crazy world, no?
Let’s do what I told my kids to do: Step back, take a deep breath, and ignore them. Let’s live in our own world instead.

What podcasts are you listening to lately? My current favorite is What Should I Read Next, hosted by the amazing Anne Bogel of Modern Mrs. Darcy blog. Here is the deal on the podcast: her weekly guest tells Anne 3 books they love, one book they hate, and what they are reading now. Anne then gives book suggestions about what the guest should read next. It’s always a great listen, and my weekly trips to the library are pretty much entirely composed of Anne’s recommendations.
I’m not a vegan, but that won’t stop me from making and devouring this Kung Pao Cauliflower.
I started Book 2 of the Outlander Series, hoping it would be dull and I could abandon the whole thing. No luck. Looks like this weekend is sorted after all.
